MMSC

        We are a friendly church consisting of members who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. and others who are getting to know Him. We love God, so you will feel acceptance; however, it is important that you feel inspired or directed by God to join our local fellowship. You do not have to be a member to attend our services.  We welcome everyone.

 

Dress: Casual to dressy. Wear attire that is comfortable for you. However, we ask all to be respectful in doing so.  

 

Culture: Diverse; Predominantly Black American. All are truly welcome.

 

Music: We begin our services with Praise & Worship which vary in time limit.  We sing and play contemporary, urban gospel, and traditional gospel with our music ministry. Most importantly, it is inspirational.

 

Giving: We believe in tithing and grace giving (offerings). Give as unto the Lord who has so graciously blessed you. 

 

Message: The messages are from the inspired Word of God, primarily delivered by our Pastor Sherman Walker, and Co-Pastor Ruth Walker. The scriptures and notes are viewable on PowerPoint, but you are encouraged to have your bible and a pen handy. The messages promote a closer relationship with God, and healthy balanced Christian living. It is also designed to encourage and strengthen hearers, while also providing specific action steps for daily application beyond the church walls. 

 

Time: Our Sunday services begin at 3:00 pm located in the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church 1700 Edmonds Ave NE suite b, Renton, WA 98056

Children: During worship, our children are encouraged to participate in singing, clapping, and worship. Then, we release our children for age relevant teaching in our fellowship hall downstairs prior to message.

 

Fellowship and Fun: We have couple and single outings, Women’s cell group, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministries, Youth and children outings and events. We love to fellowship at church and beyond the church walls. Engagements to worship with other churches are also accepted periodically, as it is awesome connecting with the body of Christ through fellowship.  

 

Prayer: Special times are set aside for corporate fasting and prayer throughout the year. All willing are encouraged to participate. Please click here to submit your Prayer Requests. Daily prayer is strongly encouraged.
